With a media career spanning almost 25 years in the UK and Australia, Kammeron Cran (previously George) is now an Executive and Team Coach and leadership development consultant working with individuals and businesses to continuously improve performance and build leadership capability.
Kammeron worked for News Corp for 14 years until July 2019 where she was most recently General Manager, Consumer Sales and Marketing – Vic/Tas, leading teams across subscriptions, circulation and marketing as well as sitting on the Executive Leadership Team for the Herald & Weekly Times. Other roles held included General Manager, Marketing – HWT and Group Marketing and Business Development Director – Leader Newspapers.
A passionate advocate for the industry Kammeron brings great energy and a combination of commercial, marketing, stakeholder and leadership skills to the Board.
Prior to News, Kammeron enjoyed three years in London with boutique partworks publisher Marshall Cavendish in the role of New Product Development Manager. Before heading to London, Kammeron held several roles at Fairfax, including Brand Manager for BRW magazine.
Kammeron has a strong track record of transforming teams, driving engagement and building meaningful relationships in complex environments. Kammeron’s deep interest is humanistic leadership and how it drives business performance.
Kammeron is a Director of charity Red Nose, an alumni of The Marketing Academy and a mentor for The Trenches as well as a paid up member of the Carlton Football Club. Kammeron, her two sons and their dog live with her partner and his son in Melbourne and they love entertaining, travel, sport and camping.
