HENDERSON GREETINGS AUSTRALIAN MADE

HENDERSON GREETINGS AUSTRALIAN MADE

Tom Stevenson first invested in Henderson Greetings in 1997 when the company was facing a very bleak future. Whilst many would have given up, Tom’s tireless determination led the company through some very difficult days – all whilst continuing to support local printers, their wonderful customers, and importantly the staff who have become more like family.

Eulinid Stevenson, daughter of Tom, is honoured to represent this business – 100% Australian owned, supporting hundreds of independently owned customers and first-rate suppliers.

“I am also grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given – thanks to Mum and Dad. I know I have big shoes to fill and dearly hope I do them proud in the years ahead,” Eulinid said.

Great to see Henderson Greeting Cards 100% Australian owned and Australian made with the Stevenson family!

COVID-19 Update: South Australian lockdown

COVID-19 Update: South Australian lockdown

19th November 2020

Dear Members,

Obviously, we have gone into immediate lockdown in South Australia.

We are working urgently with the Premier of South Australia Steven Marshall and his team to ensure we are re-opened in six (6 days).

Please note you are not alone when you are with the NLNA we will give you daily updates on the progress of the COVID19 cases in South Australia and also our progress with the State Government of South Australia pertaining to a reopening.

We are in constant contact with SA Lotteries and the senior team at Tabcorp as we work through this serious health crisis and we also believe the strain of this virus is more serious than in other states.

We are all in this together and right now for the NLNA nothing is more urgent than getting our members reopened asap.

Please reach out if you need anything at all on enquiries@nlna.com.au

Stay safe.

Kind regards,

Brendan Tohill | Chief Executive Officer

VANA & STATE GOVERNMENT VICTORIA UNIFIED

VANA & STATE GOVERNMENT VICTORIA UNIFIED

14TH August 2020

Dear Members,

A really informative zoom call today with the Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming & Liquor regulation the Hon Melissa Horne MP.

Minister Horne was instrumental in keeping us open during this heavy stage 4 lock down.

The Minister’s key points coming out of the call with myself were:

  • Newsagents are an essential service during stage 4 COVID19 restrictions.
  • We are now getting on top and stabilising the new cases of corona virus- 372 cases today. The pandemic is very real, and all government rules and regulations must be followed without exception
  • Newsagents are doing a great job considering we are in a state of disaster and continue to deliver an essential service to the community, not just newspapers but a broad range of products and services.
  • We need to continue to keep up the great work in all things COVID19 in our newsagency – Mandatory Face Coverings, Hand Sanitiser, Social Distancing & good hygiene.
  • As the Minister for Gaming and Liquor Regulation, lotteries is a large part of our industry. I intend to keep working closely with VANA ,as lotteries provides substantial revenue to the state government of Victoria and is a major source of income for newsagents.

Regards,

Brendan Tohill
